Who We Are & What We Do.
LONGRIDERS CMC New South Wales Chapter, has Members residing throughout NSW and conducts a number of activities throughout the State but mainly operates in the Hunter Region. Its principal focus is on bikers and the biker culture, but we also assist in and provide support to the local community. The Longriders Ministry is one of "just being there" and assisting if possible. We associate with, and if appropriate provide advice and assistance to bikers and community members seeking us out, as well as through us attending bike shows, poker runs and invites to other club activities. Visits by interested people to our Clubhouse and a variety of other events and activities attended by or supported by us also gives us the opportunity to assist people.
We have conducted our Annual Longriders Bike Show and Family Fun Day since 2001. The first ten years were held at Medowie, then for several years at Swan Bay and now we hold it in the grounds of the Tomago Bowls & Sporting Club, 657 Tomago Road, Tomago on the second Saturday in September, from which we provide substantial financial support to a different but very deserving charity each year. Longriders also assists other charities, communities and individuals in need throughout the year. We have various activities at our Clubhouse including Biker Church which is for both bikers and other members of the community on the first Sunday in each month, 'Mens Shed' Nights throughout the year and Mens Breakfasts. On the last Sunday in June Longriders are heavily involved in the Bikers Annual Memorial Ride & the Service which follows on Mount Sugarloaf. We also organise occasional Mystery and Social Rides.
